Haiti Donation

In the light of recent tragic events in Haiti, the Medicover Foundation has supported the Saint Damien Hospital in Port-au-Prince with a donation of 100.000 USD. The donation is aimed at assisting the hospital with urgently needed medical supplies.
The Saint Damien Pediatric Hospital building is still standing but the treatment of an ever increasing number of patients is taking place outside because of fear of aftershocks.
St. Damien Hospital is the only free pediatric hospital in Haiti. It is normally funded through donations from benefactors all over the world, primarily in Europe and the United States.
