Health care facilities of the Medicover Group comply with the uniform Medicover Standards:
- General Practitioners and Paediatricians are available 24 hours a day;
- waiting time in the waiting room for arranged treatment or examination must not exceed 15 minutes in any health care facility owned by Medicover;
- waiting period for an arranged appointment with a specialist must not exceed 7 days;
- Medicover ensures and co-ordinates all laboratory tests and other additional examinations;
- the client is fully informed of diagnostic methods used, test results, recommended treatment, including any potential side effects;
- any visit to a General Practitioner is to be made within 24 hours at the latest;
- any urgent treatment is carried out on the day when requested;
- General Practitioner visits a patient within 2 hours after being informed;
- in case of hospitalization client will be placed in an above standard room based on its availability in the particular hospital and on his health condition;
- occupational healthcare is organised and, where possible, all examinations are planned to offer time convenience;
- any written comments received are investigated within 30 days of its receipt.
