Prenatal Care

Dear Mother to be,

In a joint co-operation, Medicover and the Magazine 'Kismama' have created a modern and comfortable prenatal care programme for women expecting a child. Prenatal care is realised in the premises of Medicover’s Health Centres in Budapest, with the participation of experienced specialists, in our consulting rooms equipped with the most up-to date medical appliances.

When elaborating the programme, the examinations justified by medicine for the period of pregnancy were far most considered. Thus our package includes more than the tests prescribed by the law, in order to provide a larger safety for both the mother and the infant.

Advantages of the Expectant Mother Care Programme provided by Medicover:

The most positive feature of the programme is that the prenatal examinations can be carried out in our health centres, all in one place, on preliminary appointments and without having to wait. The programme gives an opportunity to select a single gynaecologist carrying out the whole process of prenatal care. In case of necessity we can assist in selecting the obstetrician and hospital preferred.

Our programme is available at a reasonable price, can be paid in instalments, by health insurance card of holiday vouchers. The programme’s price is HUF 213,600 not including the costs of conducting the birth.

Constituents of the service:

  • Regular specialist examinations of prenatal care in Medicover’s Health Centre in Budapest, on basis of advance appointment
  • Regular gynaecological, and ultrasound and laboratory tests
  • Sessions preparing for birth
  • Assistance in selecting the obstetrician and hospital for the birth
  • 24 hour medical counselling for participants of the programme
  • During the care, any further tests necessary on top of those included in the programme are available at a 20% reduced price in Medicover’s Health Centre.
