What is Hotline?

Hotline is a 24-hour telephone stand-by service, a medical line that ensures the organisation of emergency health care (in cases of acute complaints and emergencies out of the opening hours of Medicover Health Care Centre) and of examinations on external premises at our affiliated partners.  

This service is carried out by experienced, English-speaking medical personnel, who may also be called by our Members for medical / health care or life-style advices and information.

Hotline’s services

  • Health care counsel, information: in connection with medical issues, as well as service-related questions
  • Organisation of emergency care in case of acute complaints: depending on the patient’s state of health, medical attendance in our Health Care Centre and/or on the external premises of our affiliated partners, organising a home visit, forwarding ambulance, coordinating hospitalisation process. 
  • Organisation of examinations on external premises
  • Acting as nurse during hospitalisation (visit and help of our Clients being in hospitals)

Important: Hotline operator has the right to question the patient’s present state of health in detail and to make decisions on the grounds of medical aspects.
