Małgorzata Kowalska, Vice-President of Medicover Board,
Managing Director

At Medicover since 2009. A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and Erasmus University in Rotterdam (MBA). She has considerable experience in management in a number of areas, such as medical services, publishing, and megastore retail. In 2003-2008, she managed Family Medicine and ensured its market success and significant status of the brand in Poland. Since 2007, the President of the National Association of Private Healthcare Employers – and her activities are aimed at strengthening the position of private healthcare services suppliers in Poland.

Tomasz Brzeziński, Medicover Board Member,
Finance Director

At Medicover since 2009. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors. In 2004-2008, the Finance Director at
Graham Packaging Company, where he was responsible for company finance in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2002-2003, he worked at Ernst & Young Audit – first as a Senior, and then as a Manager in the Audit and Business Counselling Department. Earlier, for almost 4 years he had worked at Arthur Andersen.

 

Piotr Soszyński MD, PhD. Medicover Board Member
Medical Director

At Medicover since 2005. A graduate of the Warsaw Medical University (MD), specialist in internal medicine, PhD in medicine from the Postgraduate Medical Education Centre (CMKP) in Warsaw. For several years, he worked as a physician and academic teacher at the Dept. of Endocrinology, CMKP. He has also spent several years in the leading US medical institutions, e.g. Harvard Medical School in Boston. Since 1997, Medical Director at Bayer Poland; then, Clinical Research Director of AstraZeneca Polish office for Central and Eastern Europe. Co-founder and Board Member – Vice-President (2000-2002) and President (2002-2004) – of the Association for Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in Poland.

Lajos K. Fábián, Medicover Board Member

At Medicover since 2004. BA in marketing and economics. MD since 1986. Specialised in traumatology and general surgery. Until 2004, the Regional General Director of Abbott Labs (regional office for Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean). Earlier, he had held managerial positions at Falck AS (Denmark) and Schering AG (Germany).
