Actualized 2010-08-16

Dear Sir or Madam,

We kindly remind you that from 7 April 2010, the services available in the Outpatient Emergency Unit, provided so far in the Ochota Medicover Center (Bitwy Warszawskiej 18), will now be rendered in the Medicover Hospital (al. Rzeczypospolitej 5, Miasteczko Wilanów).

The Outpatient Emergency Unit will provide services within the scope of not only internal medicine and orthopedy for adults but also pediatrics. Moreover, the consulting doctors will be able to perform laboratory and X-ray tests that are necessary in case of emergency.

Working hours of the Outpatient Emergency Unit in the Medicover Hospital are as follows:

Weekdays:

  • Internal medicine: 17:00-7:00
  • Orthopedy (for adults): 17:00-24:00
  • Pediatrics: 17:00-23:00

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays:

  • Internal medicine: 24h
  • Orthopedy (for adults): 10:00-24:00
  • Pediatrics: 8:00-23:00

We also remind you that the Ochota Medicover Center will be closed on Sundays after the relocation of the Emergency Outpatient Unit to the premises of the Medicover Hospital.

The Outpatient Emergency Unit offers healthcare services in case of emergency, outside working hours of Medicover Centers and on the days off work as long as the services can be provided safely on an outpatient basis and not do not pose a direct  threat to life.

The services available in the Outpatient Emergency Unit are available free of charge to all the Medicover patients whose Medicover prepaid healthcare program or medical insurance provide for the access to the said services.

Let us also remind you that in case of emergency, the Medicover Hotline is available for you day and night on 1 96 77.

The information on the Outpatient Emergency Unit in the Medicover Hospital as well as the map to help you get to the Medicover Hospital is available on our website www.medicoverhospital.pl, in the section "Departments & Centers" - "Outpatient Emergency Unit".

We hope that these changes will let us provide our patients with even better healthcare services within the scope of the Emergency Outpatient Unit.
