Basic Occupational Medicine

In accordance with the Occupational Medicine Service Act, the Employer should ensure its employees prophylactic medical care by entering into an agreement with an authorised healthcare facility. The Occupational Medicine in Medicover includes:

Occupational medicine examinations: prophylactic: preliminary health checks: before employment; following a job change; if new adverse factors are present; periodic health checks for persons who are employed at a given workstation, before the end of validity of the previous medical certificate; follow-up examinations: compulsory before any employee who has been on the sick leave for more than 30 days, sanitary and epidemiological examinations ,
Model forms of letters of referral to diagnostic tests for downloading.
Reviewing workstations - Medicover can conduct a risk review and assessment of workstations.
Conclusions from the inspection will be recorded in the Work Environment Description Card as additional information important to the examination of affected employees.
Participation of an Occupational Medicine specialist in the work of OSH Commissions
Monitoring and reporting concerning the validity of employees’ medical certificates
Information on the rules of reimbursing the cost of glasses or the list of legal regulations governing the rules of conducting prophylactic examinations of employees.
