Who can buy the Medical Insurance ‘Medical Care in the Medicover Hospital’?
If your employer offers you permanent medical care at the Medicover Centres which does not cover hospitalisation (for example, you are a holder of a White or Blue Card), the new insurance offer is right for you!
What is the scope of services covered by the insurance?
The services covered by the medical insurance are the majority of planned hospitalisations carried out in the Medicover Hospital including the following fields: surgery, paediatric surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, gynaecology, pregnancy pathology (except for childbirth), urology, laryngology, and cardiology.
Planned hospitalisations relate to conservative treatment and diagnostics and to the treatment procedures.
Is this insurance also available in a family variant?
If your family members are covered by the Medicover medical care (i.e. you are a holder of the family variant of the Medicover Card), you can purchase the Medical Insurance ‘Medical Care in the Medicover Hospital’ also for your beloved ones.
If your family is not covered by the Medicover medical care, we have an offer with an expanded range of outpatient services – the Medical Insurance ‘Medical Care in the Medicover Hospital and Centres’.

All services offered under the insurance are carried out with 25% co-payment of the insured. This means that for each hospitalisation you pay 25% of its current price.
Example:
When the contract was signed, it has turned out that Ms Kowalska needs a varicose vein surgery. The cost of this procedure at the Medicover Hospital is 4.000 PLN. Ms Kowalska bought the Medical Insurance ‘Medical Care in the Medicover Hospital’. With the insurance, the patient pays 25% of its price - 1000,00 PLN for the hospitalisation.
