Accreditation of the Minister of Health

We are pleased to inform that Medicover Hospital in Warsaw was awarded accreditation of the Minister of Health, which confirms meeting hospital treatment quality standards by our facility.
Accreditation is a verified method of independent confirmation of the high quality of services provided in our health care facilities. Its role in contemporary health care systems consists mainly in defining the issues which significantly influence the quality of medical services and the safety of patients, as well as in determining the accreditation standards, i.e. measurable assessment criteria, in these areas. In comparison with accreditation standards being good being good practices, the healthcare facilities can perform self-assessment and improve the quality of services provided. The accreditation has been awarded to 100 hospitals in Poland to date, including the Hospital of the Damian Medical Centre.
„Accreditation of the Minister of Health is a very important achievement for us as it confirms the high quality of medical services provided at Medicover Hospital. From the patients’ perspective, it is the feeling of security and certainty that the treatment method and all aspects of dealing with patients during their hospital stay conform to the standards defined by the Centre for Monitoring Quality in Health Protection at the Ministry of Health,” says Loic Fretard, Head of the Hospital.
