On the agreed date, the patient is asked to report to the hospital reception. After registration and completing the formalities, the patient will be directed to the appropriate department of the Medicover Hospital. A member of the staff will accompany the patient to the appropriate unit and introduce him/her to the attending nurse.
Keeping personal belongings in hospital rooms
Patients are asked to bring only the necessary belongings. In each hospital room, there is a closet and a locker for patient’s personal belongings (double rooms have separate sets of such units for both patients). Each patient has one drawer that closes with a key which is given to the patient upon admission to the hospital.
We recommend leaving any valuables at home. However, if necessary, patients can deposit their valuables in the hospital safe.
The Medicover Hospital does not take responsibility for any valuables kept by patients in the hospital which have not been handed in for safekeeping.
Depositing belongings in the hospital safe
Patients wishing to deposit their valuables in the hospital safe are asked to inform the hospital care coordinator about it upon admission to the hospital.
Handing in valuables for safekeeping and collecting them is regulated by the Medicover Deposit Regulations which can be made available by the hospital care coordinator.
