Total Health Screening - step by step
Total Health Screening is a fully coordinated program where top-quality medicine is accompanied by exceptional attention to the patient’s comfort. If you decide to have the Total Health Screening program, your experience will be as follows:
- You book a date for the examinations which is convenient for you.
- On that day you are welcomed by a coordinating nurse at the reception desk of the Medicover Hospital, and taken to your room for the day (a single room equipped with air-conditioning, bathroom, phone, TV and the Internet).
- You provide samples for the laboratory tests, and then receive breakfast in your room.
- You are introduced to the doctor coordinating the screening, with whom you have a detailed medical consultation, covering amongst other things your medical history and any specific questions you may have.
- You receive a series of X-ray and ultrasound examinations performed in the most modern digital facilities.
- You receive specialist examinations of the cardio-vascular system, an MRI scan of the whole body performed using the most advanced equipment, and (for women) a transvaginal ultrasonography.
- You have time to rest and have lunch in your room.
- You receive a computed tomography examination using the most modern, unique and non-invasive technology.
- You then have a further medical consultation before discharge, including – interpretation of the tests results, recommendations and advice, and a further opportunity for you to raise any questions.
- You are discharged from the hospital.
- You receive a comprehensive final report including all your tests results and any recommendations.
