Having regard to patients’ health and safety, on 7 April 2010 we will open the Outpatient Emergency Unit in the Medicover Hospital. The emergency care will be provided within the scope of internal medicine, orthopedy for adults and pediatrics. The Unit also provides access to laboratory and X-ray diagnostics within the scope necessary to ensure outpatient care in case of emergency.
The services available in the Outpatient Emergency Unit are available:
- free of charge – to all the patients whose Medicover prepaid healthcare program or medical insurance provide for the access to the said services.
- on the fee-for-service basis – to the patients whose Medicover prepaid healthcare program or medical insurance do not provide for the access to the emergency care services and to the persons who are not covered under the Medicover healthcare program.
