A mission to improve and sustain health and wellbeing.

Medicover’s mission is to improve and sustain health and well-being. The mission sets the direction not only for our services to our customers but also for the relationship with all stakeholders and Medicovers contribution to society. To be able to fulfil the mission, Medicover need to be a sustainable company for the long term. This includes, but is not limited to, being profitable, continuously striving to improve our relationship with employees, customers, partners and suppliers, ensuring the highest standard of governance and business ethics, promoting diversity, equal opportunity and gender balance in the organisation, and taking responsibility for the environment. 

Through engagement with key stakeholders, areas have been identified where Medicover has the biggest sustainability risks and opportunities. Based on this a sustainability framework have been developed which focuses on four key areas. These key areas are linked to and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

Three SDGs that are most relevant to Medicover have been identified and where Medicover contribute positively, the strongest link is to Goal #3: Good Health and Well-being as well as Goal #8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal #4 Quality Education. Medicover also contribute towards two more of the SDGs; #13 Climate action and #16 Peace, justice and strong institutions. Medicover’s objectives in these areas are mutually reinforcing, which increases the overall positive impact.

By investing in energy-efficient facilities and developing preventive care that reduces the need for intensive treatment, Medicover actively minimise its environmental footprint. 

Care for our people and communities
Medicover generates employment opportunities around the world and create inclusive and flexible workplaces, empowering its people to deliver exceptional care to millions of patients globally. Medicover’s people are dedicated to deliver programmes that reduce the risk of illness and bring health benefits to individuals and communities.
